The West Virginia Department of Transportation’s Geospatial Information Portal is a dynamic mapping system designed to disseminate transportation information to the citizens of West Virginia.  These systems are capable of providing geospatial data without the need to have stand-alone GIS software.  Part of the strength of this technology is the ability to integrate data from many sources, and from many scales.  As a result, the user will view data at varying accuracies.  These systems are for general mapping purposes and are not intended for legal purposes.
